Lafayette Habitat for Humanity opens 2021 Homeownership Program Applications

Applications are now open for Lafayette Habitat for Humanity s Affordable Homeownership Program.
Starting March 1, applications will be available on Lafayette Habitatâs website, habitatlafayette.org, and at its program office, 823 W. Congress Street.
Habitat says that eligible applicants must have current housing need, be able to make an affordable monthly mortgage payment, and be willing to partner with Habitat to accomplish sweat-equity hours and other requirements, like completing financial education and homeownership classes.

Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna has a new manager for its Repair Program, Cara Middendorf. Her first order of business will be to raise additional funds for the program by encouraging people who are grateful for their homes to pay it forward and help a neighbor in need.

PETALING JAYA: Malacca-based property developer Teladan Setia Group Bhd, en route to a listing on the ACE Market on March 16, 2021, will be raising RM77.3 million in its initial public offering (IPO) exercise, of which RM35 million (45.3%) will be allocated for land acquisition in Malacca.
Meanwhile, RM33.1 million (42.8%) will be used as working capital for project development, RM4 million (5.2%) million for repayment of bank borrowings, and the balance RM5.2 million (6.7%) earmarked for listing expenses.

It’s been about a year since Alton’s Home Rehabilitation Program was active, but as it seems we are making headway coming out of the pandemic, the city has restarted the program. While the City of Alton is not accepting new applications for the Home Rehabilitation Program, it continues to accept applications for its HOMEownership Program.

He tells The Big Z income eligibility guidelines apply to each respective program. To date, the City of Alton has assisted 30 low to moderate income homeowners with home repairs totaling $263,000. Since 2013, the HOMEownership program has assisted 189 home buyers, totaling $567,000 in monetary assistance for home purchases within the City of Alton. For information, call 618-463-3801.
