9 de abril de 2021, 9:8Quito, Apr 9 (Prensa Latina) Adults over 50 with physical disabilities at or over 75 percent will exercise their right to vote today as part of the second round of presidential elections in Ecuador. The exercise, carried out on a voluntary basis, involves 653 people registered in the Voto en Casa (lit. Home Voting ) program nationwide, 323 of whom are men and 330 women.
The initiative is being executed by the National Electoral Council (CNE) since 2012, which allows this sector of the population to vote at home, with all the guarantees of transparency in the process.
