FORMER FOOTBALLER OF the Year Andy Moran has made his first major step into management by taking charge of his native Ballaghaderreen.
And he will be joined on the management ticket by Mayo’s former U21 All-Ireland winning boss Mike Solan as the pair try to guide their home club to their first county title since both of them were on the squad in 2012, although Moran missed the final against Ballintubber through a cruciate knee injury.
That was only the club’s third Mayo title with Moran and Solan key members of the team which bridged a 36-year gap when they triumphed against Charlestown in 2008.

The Covid-19 pandemic has stopped a lot of the usual Christmas build-up activities from taking place.
Although many of the traditional activities we take for granted any other year are out of the question, there is still some Christmas magic to be found.
With less than a fortnight to go, there are still some things you can do with your family.
1. You can t visit Santa s grotto. but Santa can come to you

we survived our first day of canoeing and the reward will be spending the night at this riverside campsite in a tiny wooden hut. that determines kramer shows me my home for the night so hopelessly for the hugs are mainly for a canoe or to stay one or two nights and want to have some home comforts. of the home for petition or don t want their tent on the boat things stay off the boat yeah or on a bike of alcohol or. so step this way. all this is a lot more comfortable than a tent well these are yeah no comparison to your average time to.
