A nurse in Homa Bay County has committed suicide.
Evans Odhiambo, an employ of the county government at Ngodhe Island dispensary is alleged to have committed suicide in his house on Sunday.
The 23-year-old nurse reportedly hanged himself with a rope tied to the roof.
Odhiambo started his duty on Sunday morning and later took a break at 1 pm.
He is said to have gone back to his house which is in the facility where he was resting.

The deceased was employed to work under the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) scheme in May 2020.

A nurse based in Homa Bay reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his house on Sunday, January 31.
The Standard reported that Evans Odhiambo who worked at the Ngodhe Island dispensary had not shown any signs that something was amiss.
The deceased had been employed to work under the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) scheme in May 2020 and was working under the county government.
