Parking restrictions have been introduced near a primary school in Watford Parking restrictions have been introduced near a primary school after neighbours raised concerns about dangerous parking in the area. Restrictions have been implemented by Watford Borough Council near Holy Rood Catholic Primary School with the scheme coming into force last week. A mixture of single and double yellow lines have been painted in the area including at the bottom of Greenbank Road and on a bend in Hemingford Road which Nascot ward councillors say will make a junction safer and improve visibility. Councillor Mark Watkin said: I welcome these small but significant improvements. It has taken a long time to have these lines implemented but we have never given up pressing for road safety on behalf of the Greenbanks community.
