Judith "Judy" Rose Palen - Duluth News Tribune | News, weather, and sports from Duluth, Minnesota

Age 86, of Carlton, MN, formerly Duluth, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023 with loving family beside her. Judy was born May 12, 1937. She raised eight children who, along with her grandkids and great-grandkids were the joy of her life. After working various jobs with ISD 709, she retired in 1997. Judy loved things great and small, including being a master gardener, crafting, fishing and eating what she caught, foster grand parenting, community extension classes and being a voting judge during recent elections. Her favorite times were family get-togethers, especially with grandkids. Judy took her Catholic faith to heart and encouraged her family to do the same as well. She enjoyed singing in the church choir at the cathedral as well as St. Francis in Carlton.
