The College of the Holy Cross has received a $23.5 million gift from the late Agnes Neill Williams, which officials say is the largest estate gift in the Worcester college’s history.
Williams is a former member of the Holy Cross Board of Trustees. The gift kickstarts the launch of the Hope + Access Campaign for Financial Aid, which looks to raise $40 million for need-based financial aid between now and June 2022, the college said in a statement.
