The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine once again called on international organizations and parliaments of the world to recognize the Holodomor of 1932–1933 in Ukraine as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
The 1932-1933 Holodomor Famine in Ukraine was a weapon of mass destruction used by the Stalin regime against the Ukrainian people, and today Russia again weaponizes food, Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Sviatoslav Shevchuk has said.
The commemoration of the 1932-1933 Holodomor Famine in Ukraine should impulse the world to decisive actions that would prevent Russia from using food as a weapon, UK Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Harris has said.
For 15 years, the Saskatchewan government has recognized the Holodomor in the province to pay homage to the Ukrainian community and mark the Holodomor genocide.
“History clearly shows that the russian Empire, Bolshevik russia, the Soviet Union, and putin’s russian federation all share one common goal – to destroy Ukraine and restore the axis of evil,” emphasized Arseniy Yatsenyuk, head of the Kyiv Security Forum, Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2014-2016 at the special event of the KSF on November 21 commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor-Genocide.
