Jackson County man arrested for child sexual abuse

Jackson County authorities arrested a man Wednesday night on charges of sexually abusing a child.
Tyler Layne Carver, 22, was arrested at his home in Hollywood Wednesday night without incident, according to a spokesman for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Carver has been charged with one count of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bond.
The charges stem from an incident that supposedly happened around Jan. 8. Sheriff’s investigators and the Alabama Department of Human Resources worked the case.
