There was a buzz of excitement in Dunoon recently when more than 300 children were spoiled with early Christmas gifts.
After a rousing rendition of “Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika”, and an enthusiastic display of dancing to the lockdown hit, “Jerusalema’, the Rotary Club of Century City Cape Town handed out the gifts.
Donated by ExPro, a network of retired professional sportsmen and Hollywood Bets, the toys and party packs were packed and prepared by the Rotarians and then packed into various vehicles for the short drive to Takalani Educare Centre, where more than 300 children gathered, eagerly awaiting their arrival.
