Montclair, NJ – If you’ve walked around Montclair Center, you may already be familiar with the work of Holly Suzanne Rader; she was selected, along with other artists, to create murals in Montclair. Rader was also featured last year at the former Gallery L.
An exhibition of Rader’s new work opens Friday at 4 Flavors Art, a new dedicated exhibition space at 204 Bellevue Avenue in Upper Montclair. 4 Flavors Art presents “Angel in The Skyline”, highlighting a unique mural being created by Rader on the 79th floor of WTC Tower 3, featuring a portrait of Audrey Munson, “America’s first supermodel.”
Munson, nicknamed “Miss Manhattan,” was a muse and inspiration for more than 12 iconic statues in New York City, at locations such as the Manhattan Municipal Building, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Frick Collection, Manhattan Bridge, the main branch of the New York Public Library, and more.
