Chloe took care of Holly while Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) was presumed dead and has always had a special bond with Holly since she was the surrogate who carried her.
Xander helped Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) fake Holly’s death, so that’s one of the many reasons Chloe may never trust Xander ever again.
