Lambe in Bermuda Squad Thursday, 24th Jan 2008 09:36
Academy midfielder Reggie Lambe has been called into the Bermuda squad for their first World Cup qualifier at home to the Cayman Islands on February 3rd. Lambe became Town s youngest ever full international last month when he made his debut in a 2-1 friendly defeat to St Kitts and Nevis.
Lambe, 16, took the record from Jaime Peters, who made his first Canada appearance as a Town player at 18.
Formerly with Bermudian club the Dandy Town Hornets, Lambe first came to the Blues attention after being recommended by a friend of director Holly Bellingham and joined the academy as a full-time scholar in the summer. He came on as a sub late on in the FA Youth Cup victory over Watford last week.
