Pastry chef Michaela Mercier was at Hollis Hills Farm over the holiday weekend offering a plethora of her scrumptious baked goods through her biz Mic's Cakes & Bakes and different types of honey from her parents' apiary Three Salty Bees, which is located just down the road from the Fitchburg farm.

Hollis Hills Farm kicked off the month with a festive holiday weekend filled with live music courtesy of The Flock on Friday Sept. 1, Blue Collar Ramblers and Our So-Called Live Music on Saturday, The Coalboilers on Sunday, and Wheelhouse on Labor Day.
Gov. Maura Healey visited Hollis Hills Farm Thursday to talk about the the Massachusetts Farm Resiliency Fund her administration launched with United Way of Central Massachusetts after the July flooding to quickly address the extensive damage done throughout the region.
According to the Healey Administration, flooding from near historic rainfalls this year resulted in the loss of over 2,700 acres of crops, saddling 148 waterlogged farms with upwards of $15 million in product loss.
