Reply There are seniors who are truly homebound with debilitating illness or disabilities who can t leave home but for the most dire of circumstances. They need the Covid-19 vaccine but can t leave their home. My executive Assistant Krista Madsen is compiling a list of names, phone numbers and addresses of residents who want the vaccine but are homebound and can t get the vaccination outside of their home. At some point in the future home visits may be possible (housecall vaccinations are not being offered right now). Please e mail my secretary kmadsen@greenburghny.com if you would benefit from the home visit or know someone else who we should add to the list. We are working with the county on this initiative. And, the Covid Angels are also asking the seniors they are connecting with if they need this service. Please note that home visit vaccinations are only being given to those who can t leave their homes.

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) Starting Wednesday, cruise ships will return to the San Diego Embarcadero â but they will not be picking up any customers for months to come.
Experts say the longer the vessels stay, the harder it is for the cruise industry to bounce back.
The Holland America Koningsdam returned to the Port of San Diego Wednesday morning. It is one of five cruise ships scheduled to dock at the Embarcadero for fuel and supplies. But not to pick up guests.
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Cruise ships are scheduled to return to the Port of San Diego this week and through the new year, part of an effort by the cruise lines to reestablish ships in U.S. waters as a prerequisite to resume cruising in a post-COVID-19 world, it was announced Monday.
Five Holland America Line ships and one Princess Cruises ship are scheduled to arrive beginning Wednesday, periodically docking at the B Street Cruise Terminal for fuel, food, supplies and services. At this time, none of the vessels will be carrying passengers or conducting any sailings, according to local port officials.
