JOHN DAY — The Grant Union Gold’s annual Holiday Showcase generally means the holiday season is in full swing in Grant County. This year’s showcase will take place on Friday and Saturday Dec. 15 and 16 and will mark the 26th year dancers from the Grant Union Gold dance team will put their talents on display for the entire community to see. Pre-middle school aged dancers from the Body Dance and Fitness dance club will join the Grant Union Gold High School dance team similar to last year while the middle school dance club will get their own time to show their dance skill. “There’s kind of been a non-existent middle school program for the past, I don’t know, five plus years,” Grant Union Gold coach Ashleigh Romero said.
