WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH A national hotel development company recently acquired Holiday Inn Resort on Wrightsville Beach, and now plans on revamping the structure, originally built in 1999.
According to a press release, Holiday Inn Resort was the fifth acquisition in the past three years for OTO Development, which is based in Spartanburg, S.C.
In the release, the company boasts a track record of purchasing and re-purposing “existing assets in strong locations.”
“With a goal of maximizing a property’s potential, OTO Development has enhanced hotels through renovations and operational improvements,” the release said. “OTO recently transformed hotels in Key West and Marathon in the Florida Keys and has a current project under renovation in St. Pete Beach, FL.”
