Took firefighters over an hour to beat back the fire. Its friday night and the big story on action news tonight is a twoalarm blaze that devastated the Delaware County community and the cause of the fire is a mystery. It heavily damaged an iconic home known to many in the heights. A family is left without a home. Chopper 6hd is over the fire on the 200 block of south penn. Thick smoke and flames engulf the home. It was terrible. Neighbors say the fire was so intense they feared it would spread to their homes. My reaction was to grab my fire and run out of the house.
