Orders amidst new highs in covid19 case counts and hospitalization rates. Abc 7 News Reporter chris nguyen has the warning. Reporter as the bay area prepares for a thanksgiving unlike any other, Santa Clara County has another urgent warning for the public. Do not have gatherings and do not travel. Period. Reporter today, 512 new cases of covid19 were reported county wide. A new record for the highest daily case count since the start of the pandemic. Perhaps up to 60 of the time when people are infecting others or infectious themselves, they have absolutely no symptoms. Reporter the county also saw its highest daily number of covid19 hospitalizations at just under 200 patients. Troubling numbers at a time of year when most hospitals are already busy because of the cold and flu season. Going day by day, wondering how you are going to make rent, somebody comes with a check for 1,500 out of just the kindness of his heart, thats something very amazing. It is one of 16 downtown restaurants gifted money from a program called meals to martinez. I think a lot of people when they hear about this, it doesnt make sense to them, they feel it is too good to be true. Black smoke rising from the Oakland Hills at 9 40 Tuesday Morning sent an ominous wave of panic. Oakland fire says what ignited the blaze is a gasoline generator hooked up because power was cut off by pg e because of the red flag warning posted for the east bay hills. It was a huge explosion. Its like i hear a neighbor saying its the generator that explode and then we see the fire all over the place and i started to shake and everybody just get panicked and started to run all over the place.
