Feb. 20 Johnston County high school students will be allowed to have a prom this year as long as it s outdoor and meets COVID-19 safety rules. High school proms across the nation were canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Johnston County school system announced Friday that proms will be permitted this year if they follow guidance from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and North Carolina Gov.
