so the assumption is that murkowski could be taking away from mcadams from people who think she has a better chance of knocking off miller and miller has the strongest and deepest support with 92 percent of the people say they like him will vote for him. shepard: part of the discussion is whether they can be explained to voters how to spell murkowski s name and the court has done some ruling on what can and cannot be done. reporter: well, yes, they are going at what is the intent of the voter trying to give the voters as much help and have their vote count so there have already been two lawsuits filed one if conjunction with the democrat and republican party, going at the election department decision to allow voters who ask for help to get a list of write in candidates, and the supreme court decided to allow those voters to get that list. so as an act of civil disobedience a radio talk show host asked the listeners to sign up as write in candidates and
place. some have shown the incumbent murkowski leading both the democrat and the family s favorite, murkowski trying to become the first write in candidate the senate in 50 years and mcadams, the democrat, trying to capitalize on the republican divide to secure a win. but the most recent poll conducted in the state shows miller slightly ahead of the pack. he is the republican, rather, the tea party republican and it adds up to a confusing race in the land of the midnight sun and now to anchorage. reporter: it is wild. the polls indicate the latest poll has miller up 37 with murkowski and mcadams at 30 each, a reversal of the other polls and the internals are interesting because it shows that miller has the highest negative rating while mcadams has the highest positive rating.
