A Bristol man has admitted to committing 37 robberies across Connecticut in 2022. 45 year old Lonny Cross pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act Robbery and Hobbs Act Robbery. The crimes took place in various towns, from Hartford to Fairfield County, and included one in New York State. Cross, often with an accomplice, targeted convenience stores, mini-markets, and liquor stores, using a knife or fake firearm. He was arrested last October after searches of his home and car uncovered evidence linking him to the robberies, along with drugs and drug paraphernalia. Cross faces up to 40 years in prison.
