Pragnesh Patel says the only allegation against him is related to ‘intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace’, a bailable IPC charge carrying a maximum sentence of two years.
The Santej police station in Gandhinagar booked Patel under sections 279 (rash driving) and 427 (committing mischief causing monetary loss) of the Indian Penal Code and under provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act.
