It’s time to bid adieu to Nokia, again. After buying it from Microsoft in 2014, HMD Global has been manufacturing and releasing new Nokia-branded phones for the last half a decade. But, now it is retiring the brand ‘Nokia’ as it prepares to bring new smartphones under its own ‘HMD’ brand.
Is Nokia dead? Is Nokia still in business? People in early 2000s were new to Nokia phones and they were reliable on these due to its long lasting battery pack up and its strength. However, it seems Nokia is gone now. Yes, you read it right. The HMD Global has changed the names of Nokia’s social handles and website. The new name is Human Mobile Devices (HMD).
For Existing Nokia 110 4G users, the company will be rolling out free over-the-air software updates in the next two weeks. Both Nokia 106 4G and Nokia 110 4G now support UPI Scan & Pay for hassle-free transactions.
