Komi Can’t Communicate, the popular comedy and slice-of-life manga, is getting an anime adaptation and the first trailer is already out. The series is set to debut in Japan in October 2021.
Komi Can’t Communicate follows the difficult high school life of Komi Shouko, who will be voiced by Koga Aoi, who also plays Kaguya in
Kaguya-Sama: Love is War. As the title suggests, Komi has trouble socializing with her classmates, which leads to them thinking she’s stuck up. However, Hitoshi Tadano (Kajiware Gakuto), Komi’s very average but kind classmate, sees through the rumors about Komi and decides to help her come out of her shell and make some friends.
