There are a total of 107 Wisps for you to find as you travel around the various locations in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Finding them all is necessary if you want to complete your Pokédex.
Near the end of the main storyline, you'll be tasked with capturing both Dialga and Palkia. These Legendary Pokémon can put up quite a fight, so you'll need to come prepared.
