Between them, they ran up a bill worth £22,000, having generated an endless amount of food vouchers.

The scheme began in 2018, when a university student named Xu, from Jiangsu, China, was first to spot a bug in KFC’s mobile app.
He quickly realised that by switching between the app and the restaurant’s official account on WeChat, he could generate an unlimited number of free food vouchers.
