one of the dark and shameful days in american history and certainly marine corps history. 11 marines, one sailor are dead. but they are dead because of the incompetence of the withdrawal. the shameful manner in which we have completely surrendered to the taliban. earlier this week i had to be on the house floor, that not allowed the president biden to withdraw until we got every american that wanted to get out of the country. required them to report to us every day on the number of americans left in country and the number of afghan allies seeking refuge. although democrats were very critical in a classified group briefing of the arbitrary augusn it came time to vote on that on the home s floor, voted against it so as not to jeopardize the $5 trillion rule to make possible the bernie sanders budget. that s where we are right now. that s where the cats priorities
the taliban to explain, isis to exploit, that s how they basically set off the bombs today. their cover for what s happening. do you trust the administration to vet these people before they touched down on u.s. soil? not in the least. what i heard from the government sources about the evacuation is horrifying. over 100,000 afghan nationals were removed from the country and the vast majority of whom have rendered no meaningful assistance the united states government in the war effort. the only common thread among them was the taliban let them through and they wanted to leave afghanistan. that said, that s the qualifying criteria. this is madness. the one thing that joe biden said today is that afghanistan never had a successful history of being a democracy within a strong central government. that s a series of warring tribes, it s a warring fundamentalist extremists killing each other for generations. the notion we are going to
be locked. jesse: they drew blood today, the enemy. we have not responded at all. what do you think is going down in a militant camp surrounding the airport? so far, it s devastating for the families obviously. we lost service members today, devastating for the country, going to be a stain on the history of the united states of america forever. we had a perfect environment for an attack like this because at the front gate, who s we need to get in? other american citizens, may be afghans who helped us over the last 20 years, their family, and regular afghans who do not want to live under the taliban regime. everybody the taliban wants to take out is right there. perfect location for the car bomb like this for multiple car bombs like this. going on the offense, we haven t been on the offense for quite some time. in 1947 we changed the department to the department of defense. if we change name of the
largest foreign policy disaster in this country s history. by the way, a young senator from delaware was railing against the vietnam war during the fall of saigon, vice president during benghazi, and he s president of the united states during the fall of kabul. joe biden, this is on him. the blood of the american service members and our allies is on him. one strategic blunder after the next. whether it s pulling the military out prior of evacuating citizens or giving up bagram air base, which will be studied at military academies is one of the greatest blunders of how not to conduct a withdrawal. if stranding thousands of americans behind enemy lines and here s what i cannot understand for the life of me. since the moment that president trump took his hand off the bible, the democrats tried to impeach him over and over and over again. for a phone call, which president trump said was
just the taliban, but every network, al qaeda planning the counteroffensive by the way the taliban also had time to send a delegation to beijing to coronet with china. joe biden has been wrong, been on the wrong side of every major foreign policy decision in the history of the country and he is wrong again on this one. it s a tragedy. jesse: streaks alive. if sean parnell, thank you for coming on prime time. fox news contributor colorado also here tonight let s listen to the flip of joe biden. back when he was running for president back in 2008 when he believed holding people accountable for their failures was the most important thing. we ve got to hold people accountable for our failures. for the rest of the world looks at us and when we do not hold our own people accountable, they wonder why they should follow what is spirit in our judgment.
