white hair there opening the door. some people were a little confused at first. but this is all we have, a very short snippet of him. the latest now for the last few minutes we learned that his interrogation is delayed until tomorrow morning because he is in, quote, poor health. this is according to reports that aired on state television in serbia today. he is 69, and there are reports he may have suffered a stroke, that he doesn t have the full usage of one of his arms. but let me tell you, some of these bosnians who are relatives of victims of that massacre in srebrenica, you have to think of this note the scale of it. no sympathy? not only no sympathy. you could hear the emotion in their voices when we were talking to them today on cnn international. i m sure you ve seen some of these images. they re indelible, really, in the history of europe, of men lined up one after another and shot like animals. this is something we saw today too, and reexperienced with some of the bosnia

promoting the division by race or by ethnicity. it s not promoting the overthrow of the government. ethnic studies is not saying we don t want to treat people as individuals, part of how you respect individual difference is by understanding the rich contributions that people make. we ve always done that. we just only focused on european ethnicity. now we re broadening the canopy. that s a good thing. tom, i m curious, if you think in concept it all aimed to work it s my understanding you have classes that are offered in african-american, mexican-american, native-american studies, for example, they talk about the history of hispanics serving in the vietnam war. aren t these classes open to everybody? in our standards that are promise you will gated by our department, we require in all social stirredies classes, the students learn about all diplomat cultures. i m totally in favor of that. what i m again is by dividing
stuff teaching pleuralism with high arky. but what they re doing is dividing the kids by race and teaching each race only about its own background. i want kids to learn about all different backgrounds. tom, tom, are you telling me that in european history you teach about african history? of course you don t. we have world history and do teach about it. you re totally mistaken. tom, if there were, say, a native-american student that wanted to take a class about an african-american history class, is that not allowed? and can t you change that? it s allowed, but that s not what s happening. what s happening is they re dividing the kids by race and infusing them with a radical socialist ideology and creating so much hatred. i ll give you an example of what happened yesterday. according to channel 4 in tucson, they had a skit, and at the end of the skit they kill
them by race. that wasn t the question, tom. i m answering the question. don t jump in. tom, you haven t answered in three days. i was asked a question, let me answer it. in the rasa studies program it s 90% hispanic and directed toward that race. they re teaching them just about their background. i m going having kids learn just about their background. tom let me jump back in. the question was are they open to all the students? the answer of course is yes. that s why you didn t respond. no, it s open, but let me finish. if only latino studies are going in there, we need to diversify the class, and of course raza studies only focus on latinos. just like european history only focused on, surprise, the history of europe. there s nothing wrong with that. that s who we re supposed to do. the only point is we re not
