Tyre Gray took over as president of the association in 2020. Gray says Nevada produces 22 different minerals that are critical to everyday life. He is a graduate of UNLV s Boyd School of Law. He is encouraging college students to consider a career in mining. He s been working with the Black student union at the West Career & Technical Academy.
