there is no significant figure on the left who thinks this is a good idea. our friend, governor ed rendell, told solon yesterday, this is ridiculous. the left has to accept, this is right now the most progressive president we can elect in this country. actually, i love to hear you say that, but i d also like to add an historic thing when you agree with, i think. probably the most progressive president since the first year of the johnson administration, 64. i don t think there s been anything like it in terms of progressive activity across the board. howard, history check. i know we have to talk to some people who are younger perhaps who aren t as politically crazed as we are, who haven t followed this, like, for 40 years. but the fact is, if you look at history, who s going to come in there and actually win the presidency to this guy s left? who are they talking about? i mean, win it? i ve been talking to some of those young crazies, okay. that s my job. i didn t say crazies.
