Tyler's famous and historic brick streets were laid in the 1900's. While we were not there to see the creation of these famed streets, this old video give us a glimpse of their creation.
The Azalea Trails officially run from Mar. 24 to Apr. 9, featuring more than ten miles of residential gardens and historic homes covered with azaleas, tulips, wisteria, dogwood and more.
Historic Tyler on Tour takes place each spring during the Azalea Trails. This year we will feature five homes and the grounds of one estate, all located in the Charnwood Residential Historic District. Enjoy a glimpse inside some of Tyler's significant historic houses as you stroll through Tyler’s first historic district. Tickets are $25 and available online or at the door.
