On Christmas Eve, the co-pastors of the historic First Church of the Resurrection in partnership with the Canton Abbey, First Mennonite and the Neighborhood Church will lead Christmas in the Streets, a drive-in Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. in the church parking lot at 901 Tuscarawas St. E.
It will include a service of lessons and carols followed by a caravan through downtown that includes Stadium Park to see the Christmas light displays.
The event is similar to a drive-in sunrise Easter service they organized in the spring. That one drew 300 participants from 30 different churches.
