HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Some 58% of Oahu’s first responders, including firefighters, lifeguards and paramedics, have received COVID-19 vaccinations, the city said Thursday. The vaccination effort for Oahu first responders started last week. Hiro Toya, city director of Emergency Management, said 2,315 city first responders have gotten their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
