Lowe’s filling more than 700 jobs in Metro Detroit on National Hiring Day

DETROIT – Lowe’s plans to hire 50,000 seasonal, part-time and full-time U.S. store associates ahead of home improvement season.
More than 700 of those positions will be filled in Detroit on May 4, according to a company spokesperson. Candidates can apply in-person at Lowe’s stores nationwide from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. where they will have the opportunity to meet hiring managers, speak with associates and receive on-the-spot offers.
Lowe’s has available roles for any qualified applicant 18 or older including overnight and daytime roles. Open positions include cashiers, retail associates, stockers and receivers, merchandising service associates, drivers, supervisors and pro sales roles.

during the companyâs National Hiring Day on Tuesday, May 4.
In total, Loweâs will welcome 50,000 new seasonal, part-time and full-time U.S. store associates across a variety of positions to help customers tackle their home projects this spring and summer.
The Hiring Day event will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Upon arrival, please visit the registration table or customer service to sign in. You will either scan a QR code or navigate to our electronic sign-in form on your mobile device. When it s time for your interview, we will send you a text or email with a breakdown on what to do next.
