A Bopal filmmaker, Praful Thakar, has been cheated out of Rs 55 lakh by six individuals who promised high returns on investments. The case has been registered by the Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) based on a complaint filed by Thakar. The accused individuals include Hiren Jogani, Ketan Solanki, Deepak Shah, Chandani Jaspara, Jigar Nimavat, and Harsh Solanki. Thakar's son came in contact with Nimavat, who claimed to be the national head of Ever Grow Investors. Anuj, Thakar's son, invested Rs 5.35 lakh in various companies and was promised a profit. However, the money was not returned, and the family discovered that several others had been cheated by the group. Thakar filed a complaint of cheating against the accused individuals and seeks justice.

Investors in Ahmedabad scammed of ₹57 lakh by promising high returns

A complaint has been registered in the economic offences wing of the Crime Branch by a Bopal resident and his relatives, who were cheated of ₹57 lakh by offering a guaranteed return of 4% a month against investment in a company and other businesses.
