scott pruitt is an example, he will sort of tolerate months of bad headlines before he pulls the plug. there s a little bit of uncertainty. i will say that the president s chief of staff mick mulvaney is clashing with acosta for reasons that have nothing to do with this. he believes that acosta has not been forcefully or efficiently enough pressing the president s deregulation agenda, undoing some of the obama administration policies. and so if you have someone who s a little tenuous this might in terms of the palace intrigue and infighting give mulvaney or those who aren t huge fans of him an opportunity to push him out. it s worth noting the president is loyal now but he could go either way. sometimes when people are telling him to do something, you have 0 to fire him, will double down and entrench himself and that will give hip reason to keep him. or he might get fed up and become disgusted with what he learns about the case and let him go at some point. it would be a funny time t
