Members of the Jasper Art Guild (JAG) and the Hinton Art Club have swapped locations to display artwork in their respective towns, in a move called Jasper/Hinton Spring Artists Swap (SAS) Exhibitions.
Until March 28, Jasper artists’ work will be on display – and for sale – at the Performing Arts Theatre of Hinton.
This is the first year the artsy swap has been done.
“It’s to promote regional fine arts, instead of just community fine arts,” said JAG president Christina Martin.
“It’s cross-promotion of artists to sell their work outside communities of their own.”
