LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Motivating kids to spend more time reading each day isn’t always easy.
So when teachers at Hintgen Elementary School in La Crosse set a reading goal for their students, they came up with a unique reward to give kids that extra push to open a book.
If they collectively read for 250,000 minutes outside of school before the end of the year, they could turn their principal into a human ice cream sundae.
