(NEW YORK, NY) Swedish street magicians and illusionists Peter Brynolf and Jonas Ljung achieved the impossible by stumping the legendary Penn & Teller on the first season of their long-running television show, "Penn & Teller: Fool Us!" Now Penn & Teller return the favor by producing Brynolf & Ljung in their New York theatrical debut, Stalker, which combines street magic, stunning illusions and physical mentalism, leaving audiences both thrilled and mystified. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) has launched a new digital guide on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and culture app created by Bloomberg Philanthropies. PAFA is the first cultural organization in Philadelphia, and one of hundreds around the world, to utilize this digital resource. The Bloomberg Connects app is available for free from Google Play or the App Store.
(CAMDEN, NJ) On February 29, Philadelphia public radio station WXPN announced that nine artists have been added to the lineup of its 2024 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru: The Walkmen, Pete Yorn, Jade Bird, George Porter Jr. & Runnin Pardners, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Florry, Velvet Rouge, Mostapha Noumbissi and Carla Gamble. They join the eight previously announced artists performing September 20-22 at Wiggins Park on the Camden waterfront, directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. More artists and the daily lineup will be announced soon.
