Police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man who is wanted in connection with a robbery in central London that led to the death of a “well-loved” dog.
A 56-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were walking their two dogs when a man wearing a face covering and gloves approached them at around 4.20pm on August 4 in Spanish Place, Westminster.
The suspect was pushing his bike on the footpath when he stopped the man and woman.
He attacked the man, forcibly removing his watch which caused scratches to his arm. The woman tried to pull the suspect off the victim but she was violently pushed to the ground.
