Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh) [India], April 16 (ANI): The Himachal Pradesh Police on Friday detected mobile signals from Pakistan after trekkers in Dharamshala claimed that the standard time on their phones changed from IST (Indian Standard time) to PST (Pakistan Standard Time).
According to Superintendent of Police Vimukh Ranjan, the Department of Telecommunication has been informed for further inquiry. Last week, we received information that some trekkers had detected signals from Pakistan on their phones and their time standard was also changed from IST to PST. Int l drugs gang busted; Contraband worth Rs 25 cr seized: HP Police
Shimla, Feb 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Police on Thursday claimed to have seized narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances worth Rs 25 crore while busting an international racket involved in the pedalling of contraband substances here.
Director-General of Police Mr Sanjay Kundu told media while addressing a press conference at police headquarters Shimla today.
He said that police was targeting large networks of drug suppliers and studying their modus operandi and it succeeded in busting a major racket on January 14 when a drug haul of 123 kgs of charas was caught at Kullu district.

The Himachal Pradesh Police on Sunday said it has arrested two youngsters in Kullu district after recovering two kgs of charas (cannabis) from their possession.
Ankit Ashok Nisar (29) hailing from Devi Nagar in East Mumbai City and Mihir Ojha Labhshankar (24) hailing from Mumbai’s Brihan area were arrested and 1.816 kg charas was found in their possession, Kullu Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said.
The SP said the drugs were recovered from their possession at Bajaura when they were travelling in a Delhi-bound bus.
