This year, why not make it local?
On a recent weekend afternoon at Buckingham Valley Vineyards, families, couples and friends gathered on blankets and fold-out chairs, sipping wine and snacking on cheese and crackers as a musician played acoustic tunes, against a backdrop of rolling vineyards and towering sculptures.
About 10 miles north at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery in Perkasie, a similar scene was unfolding, as visitors on a sprawling grassy area played lawn games and laid back, listening to upbeat live tunes and soaking up the sun.
Gatherings like this are happening across the region, as Bucks County s wineries welcome visitors to their properties, offering a blended combination of local flavors, a scenic getaway and entertainment for the entire family. Wineries across the region are humming with activity, with some offering tastings inside, while others keeping the entertaining outdoors.
