The report cards aim to show school districts’ progress in raising achievement and preparing students for the future. They analyze data from several different categories to provide "clear and easily available reporting on school performance," according to ODE's school report cards website.
As students returned to school on the morning of Sept. 5, they came back to a brand new facility. And, there’s a new face at the helm of the district, with Cathy Trevathan replacing long-term superintendent Steve Dickerson.
The gym will bear the name “Steven Dickerson Gymnasium” above both its doorways. It was built as part of Hillsdale Local Schools’ new facility. Dickerson led the district as superintendent throughout the project.
