Three men have been charged with an aggravated burglary which is thought to have led to an armed brawl in the grounds of a school.
Berwick Hills Primary School in Middlesbrough was put into lockdown on Friday morning when men with weapons were seen fighting.
Cleveland Police believe the confrontation was linked to an earlier theft.
The men, aged 18, 27 and 28, will appear before magistrates later.
The youngest is also charged with two counts of attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, burglary, theft of vehicle, dangerous driving, driving with no licence or insurance and criminal damage.

Police incident tap
Armed police were called to a primary school after a fight between men armed with weapons spilled into the grounds.
Berwick Hills Primary School in Middlesbrough took safety precautions following the incident at around 8.40am on Friday.
Cleveland Police said officers located a number of men in possession of “sharp objects” and arrested four people.

A male member of the public who assisted police in detaining the men suffered minor injuries, the force said.
A police spokesman said: “Officers can assure parents that the incident is not linked to the school and officers will remain in the area for some time to provide a high-visibility presence and reassurance to members of the public.”

Parents are waiting to take their children away from Berwick Hills Primary School following an incident which left the building in lockdown.
Police confirmed earlier today that officers were called to the Westerdale Road school at 8.40am after a number of males were reported to be fighting with weapons.
