ROCHESTER HILLS The city of Rochester Hills finished fourth in the nation for 2020 census response for cities with a population over 75,000.
“The census is important because it really determines the amount of funding we get for the next 10 years,” Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett said.
The city hasn’t always going back to the year 2000 done exceptionally well, Barnett said.
“In 2010, we put a great plan together, and in 2020, we wanted to even improve on that plan to get as many of our people counted and as much of the resources back in our community as we possibly could,” Barnett said.
