BEDMINSTER, NJ At least 12 units sustained damage, including two that were completely destroyed, and one pet perished in a fire in the Village Green section of The Hills living community Saturday morning.
According to Bedminster Mayor Larry Jacobs, inspectors were on the scene during the day Saturday to assess when the damaged units can be occupied once water and power service are restored.
“A special thanks to our local fire companies,” Jacobs said. “A total of seven responded, including Far-Hills Bedminster Fire Department 29 and Pottersville Volunteer Fire Company 63, as well as the Bedminster Police Department. Their quick response and action prevented the loss of life and limited the extent of the property damage. We are very grateful for all their efforts.”
