What the family says. Suzanne . Alison they say they thought a plane had crashed in their front yard. Tonight, the four teenagers accused of stealing that vehicle are in Police Custody and this home is uninhabitable. A stolen Chevy Silverado went through this home as the day was just getting started. The teenagers had apparently stolen the truck last night. They lost control of the vehicle on cardinal drive and crashed into the fourbedroom house. It is shocking. She was upstairs with her mother and sister. It was just feet away from her youngest sister, five years old on the first floor. She was downstairs. On the stairs. Screening. I was so happy. The crash woke up neighbors, who thought it was a simple car accident. I went to the window, where i could get a better view of it and i was shocked to see the truck. The owner expressed gratitude. Weve got some cool temperatures. Well have some clouds and eventually some rain showers around today. Not going to rain all day. Lets go right to the satellite radar. You can see right now we are still dealing with clear skies but rain on the way there now pushing into West Virginia, western pennsylvania and again, well see the clouds increase over the introduction couple of hours and eventually some rain showers. The dynamics here are not terribly impressive. Not expecting a whole lot in the way of rain. But well get several hours of rain t will probably last through the evening commute and well see things gradually start to clear out. If you are well out to the west, and i do mean well out to the west, some of the sheltered valleys out there in western maryland, there is the possibility of a little bit of this coming down as sleet or freezing rain early and there is a Winter Weather advisory for parts of western maryland and West Virginia. Actually, we have rain coming and i want you to see its all ahead of a cold front, and youre right, the timing is everything because we have temperatures in the 30s, and we expect them to drop a little bit more. We expect the bulk of that rain to get to dc between 9 00 and 11 00 in the morning, but there are some areas where it will arrive earlier, and because the air will be colder, you could have a wintry mix of maybe a small combination of snow and sleet. Right now, we have some high, thin clouds around, and thats actually allowing temperatures to drop a little bit more, so well watch those temperatures. That temperature you see there stretches from chicago to the gulf coast. I expect that to be getting closer
