THE body of a 38-year-old police sergeant, attached to the Hillbrow Community Service Centre, was found on an open field in Mapleton near R103 Old Heidelberg Road on Wednesday, 6 July.
A joint sting operation by law enforcement led to the arrest of five suspects for their alleged involvement in the killing of an off-duty Gauteng police sergeant, Siyabonga Enoch Shabalala.
