Stadium said he did not think the raiders did enough to stay in the city of oakland. The city of oakland fought for years for a solution to try to keep the team. Wayne . Reporter the vote to move the raiders to las vegas by the nfl owners was 311. In oakland city hall, both the mayor and the president of the city council think that the raiders were done with the city a long time ago, and now they want nothing to do with them. They dont want them playing in the coliseum, they dont even want them in oakland. We did everything they asked of us, reporter privately funded, endorsed by the city last december. After the carson vote and after the new lease was negotiated, with the coliseum, the raiders ceased all communications with the city of oakland.
